Vauxhall Tigra

With prices from £14,195 to £16,895, the Used Vauxhall Tigra is both an attractive and affordable car that looks a little bit like an elongated mini. The Tigra can do 0-60 in 10 seconds, which although may not be particularly impressive, it more than makes up for by handling effortlessly on long stretches. This is a car that sports very light steering, offering its owner with a reliable and comfortable drive. If you are looking for thrills, you will certainly not find them here. This is an every-driver car, and unlike some high-end sports cars that require some serious driving skills, the Tigra allows you to get from A to B with little to no effort at all.

The Vauxhall Tigra’s electrical roof is easy to use and folds down within 20 seconds, and also comes with a three-year warranty (which is a good thing as the roof is not particularly durable). The Tigra is also available as a diesel, for those looking for a more economical option.

For a two-seater, the Tigra has plenty of inside space, making it a very comfortable little car. When the roof is down, you don’t feel battered by the wind, thanks to ample buffering. When the roof is up, the sound is minimal and you are sealed in tight. For such a small car, the Tigra also offers ample capacity. For example, there are 440+ litres in the boot and then an extra 70 litres in a compartment behind the seats. Drop the roof, and there's still a useful 250 litres. This makes the Tigra not only very affordable and economical, but also a very practical sporty car. If there is a downside however, it is that the interior, which was modelled on the Corsa, is a little bit too plastic, making this stylish little car just that little bit dated on the inside.
