Peugeot RCZ
The Peugeot RCZ, priced between £19,593 - £24,193, is very much like chocolate – it’s rich and smooth, and undeniably sexy. Even the interior of the RCZ is luxurious and doesn’t disappoint, sporting a stunning leather dashboard that is lower-set and very appealing. This vehicle simply oozes style, and drives very much like a top of the range sports car. The design of the RCZ is undoubtedly its greatest feature, especially the improved back window which has a "double bubble" roofline that extends downward into a double-curved glass rear windows. Although the Peugeot RCZ looks very similar to the Audi TT, the visibility factor of the RCZ is almost certainly superior.
The Peugeot RCZ provides drivers with a healthy 1.6 litre engine, a twin scroll turbocharger and nippy four-wheel drive. Indeed, the RCZ has fantastic control – it accelerates from 0-60 in 8.7 seconds and can reach top speeds of 147mph – certainly a good speed for a 1.6 litre engine. Environmentally aware folk will also be pleased to know that the vehicle’s CO2 emissions sit at 139 g/km - an excellent output for such a sporty little car.
The Peugeot RCZ offers either a 156bhp or 200bhp engine, with a six-speed manual gearbox. The 200bhp unit combines variable valve lift and timing with a fast-response, twin-scroll turbocharger. Combined fuel economy provides adequate fuel-saving, and the RCZ handles just as you would expect any decent sports car – smooth and quiet. Perhaps the only thing this model is lacking is more effective steering, but the all-roundness of the RCZ more than makes up for this.
